The historic building underwent extensive remodeling in 1954, followed by a major renovation and expansion in 1996. The project involved renovating the multi-floor building.

The Ahuja Medical Center opened in 2011. Due to its ongoing success, the facility has been expanded to include the three-story 78,000 SF sports medicine facility providing orthopedic care to a variety of athletes. The facility provides a holistic care from diagnosis (with an on-site CT and MR) to surgery as well as rehabilitation and performance training.
