The Thirsty Dog Brewing Company began brewing over 20 years ago and currently operates in the same building that formerly housed the Burkhardt Brewing Company, in Akron, OH. In October if 2017 it opened its second brewery, located on the Flats East Bank in Cleveland, Ohio.
The 800 SF, steel-framed canopy was designed and constructed for Thirsty Dog Brewery, located on the Flats East Bank in Cleveland, Ohio. The canopy measures 33 feet long by 24 feet wide, and provides cover for a 25-seat outdoor bar with a view of the Cuyahoga River. The design of the canopy utilizes Architectural Exposed Structural Steel (AESS) tube members with all welded connections. The free-standing canopy structure supports a glass skylight system.
