The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center is a leader in central Ohio for medical research and healthcare. The new 385,000 SF, eight-story, steel framed facility is a cancer-focused facility and includes central Ohio’s first Proton Treatment Facility in partnership with Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
B&H is the structural engineer of record on the design of the 385,000 SF, eight-story, steel framed facility. The project includes outpatient operating rooms, interventional radiology rooms, extended recovery unit, pre-anesthesia center, a diagnostic imaging center, retail pharmacy, hematology clinic, genitourinary (GU) clinic, infusion and medical office and support spaces. This facility is intended to be a cancer-focused facility and will include central Ohio’s first Proton Treatment Facility in partnership with Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
