The Ahuja Medical Center opened in 2011. Due to its ongoing success, the facility has been expanded to include the three-story 78,000 SF sports medicine facility providing orthopedic care to a variety of athletes. The facility provides a holistic care from diagnosis (with an on-site CT and MR) to surgery as well as rehabilitation and performance training.
Its northeast Ohio location provides convenient access to Cleveland, Akron-Canton and Erie. UH has teamed with T3 Performance to provide performance training for adults and young athletes. The structure is steel framed with concrete slabs. The lateral bracing system utilizes reinforced concrete walls at stairs and elevators. Nearly half of the building’s footprint includes a three-story high sports performance facility.
