The project involved historic preservation and adaptive re-use of an existing 90 year old historic landmark skyscraper into shopping, offices and housing. B&H scope included the following; performing structural analysis and design to facilitate the planned adaptive re-use; condition assessment of the deteriorated portions of the concrete structure and concrete encased steel structure and developed repair details to restore the long term structural integrity; condition assessment of the building façade elements (brick, stone panels) and developed repair details to address the on-going deterioration.
