Lycoming College is a private liberal arts college providing quality education in northeastern Pennsylvania since 1812. It is one of the County’s fifty oldest colleges and has an enrollment of over 1,200 students. The project has expanded the College’s acclaimed music curriculum.
The two-story 14,000 SF building (with a partial third floor for mechanical equipment) connects to Honors Hall to create an integrated music facility. The architecture engages the campus characteristics utilizing brick facades and sloping roofs. A plaza area with water feature further engages the facility to the surrounding campus. The Center features soundproof practice rooms, a signature recital/rehearsal space, a music resource and instrument room, support areas and two-story entrance area.
