Columbus State Community College – Aquinas Hall Facade Restoration

Columbus, OH
$3.0 M
HIGHLIGHTS

Built around 1905, Aquinas Hall was originally Aquinas College High School until 1965. The building was purchased by Columbus Technical Institute (predecessor to Columbus State Community College) and became the first building on College campus.

B&H served as the structural engineer of record on the design-build team led by Regency Construction with Chambers Murphy & Burge Historic Preservation architects (now a studio of Perspectus Architecture). B&H performed structural condition assessment on the 110 year old, historic masonry building facade, and developed repair details to help restore its structural integrity and safety.
