The new three-story, 120,000 SF building for the University’s Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine will be focused on enhancing innovative medical education while improving community outreach and research. The building is known as Heritage Hall and honors the Osteopathic Heritage Foundation and osteopathic medicine in general. It is the first WELL certified medical education building on the University’s main campus.
B&H served as the structural engineer of record on the design of this state-0f-the-art steel framed facility and worked diligently with the A-E team, University Design and Construction and facilities group and the Construction Manager at Risk to deliver a successful project – consistent with the expectations of the University and faculty/staff. The building is supported on 65 foot long auger cast pile deep foundations.
